We have a new addition in our office!  We are now the proud new owners of a circa 1981 "Heritage of Lombard" game!  Lombard resident Melissa Gonzalez found this in her basement when she moved into her house, and mentioned in a Facebook Group that she would like to donate it.  There was a lot of back and forth on who it should be given to.  Here are some of the posts:

  Amy Le Beau Maybe we should have a run off. The 3 groups sends representatives to play the game. The winner gets the game for their group. The remainders go out for a pub crawl...Casa Real for margaritas, noon whistle for beers and food truck....
  I'm sure we can arrange transportation and I know all 3 of you would enjoy it...
   

I'm sure you would all agree that this was a lively exchange!  Lucky us, because in the end we won!  Executive Assistant and Chief Framer, Donna Eisner, put it all together and mounted it in a frame, and it is now hanging upon our walls.  It features many area businesses from that year, some of which are thankfully still around!   You will have to check it out the next time you stop by!  It will bring back some nostalgic memories for sure~
