DESCRIPTION:The Kiwanis Club of Lombard presents the 11th "Over the Threshold\, a Tour of Distinctive Lombard Homes".  The event showcases 5 Lombard Homes\, each with a unique style and personality.  Local interior decorators\, garden and landscape designers and floral designers are working with the homeowners to highlight the architectural\, historical\, and lawn/garden features.  Home tours will be held from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and also from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.  In addition to the home tours\, a reception to meet the homeowners and designers will be held at the Lombard Historical Society Coach House from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.  Proceeds from this event benefit local programs and organizations serving children.  For more details\, check out the website:  www.lombardhousewalk.com.  Tickets\, at $30 each\, will be available beginning on April 25th at local area businesses.  Tickets will also be available at the homes on the day of the walk.
