DESCRIPTION:OLD FASHIONED ICE CREAM SOCIAL AND NEW RECREATION EXHIBIT\n\nLombard\, IL   The Lombard Historical Society will host an old fashioned ice cream social on Sunday\, June 26\, from 1-3pm at the Victorian Cottage. Free entertainment will include live music\, children's activities\, and face painting. Ice cream with sundae fixings will be $3/bowl. \n\n \n\nThere is also free admission to the museum's latest exhibition in the Carriage House\, The Great Outdoors: Leisure and Loafing in Lombard. From Victorian bathing suits and diving boards to barbecues and lawn darts\, see how Lombardians past and present beat the summer heat. The exhibit is partially curated by Lombard residents themselves\, featuring artifacts and objects lent to the museum for display and storytelling. This exhibit will remain open through August.   \n\n \n\nCelebrate the beginning of summer the old-fashioned way at our Victorian Cottage at 23 W. Maple in Lombard.
