DESCRIPTION:Mathnasium of Glen Ellyn is an official Toys for Tots collection center.  Since we joined Toys for Tots late last year we did pretty well!\n\nFor those who donated for Toys for Tots at our center we would like to thank you!  \n\nThis was a start of a great tradition!\n\n \n\nTOY GUIDELINE - We accept new\, unwrapped toys for boys and girls from infants to age 12. The age groups we typically need are infants 10-12 yrs.  We tend to receive a lot of board games but would love to give items to older kids such as hand-held electronics jewelry sets\, cosmetics\, arts and crafts\, models\, creative/educational items\, athletic equipment.  There are always suggestions on line with what's popular today. \n\nSTUFFED ANIMALS - Because many of the social service agencies we work with do not request stuffed animals\, and due to the difficulty in determining if a stuffed animal is in fact a new toy\, we prefer not to receive stuffed animals. However we don't like turn down fluffy donations.  Please bag your stuffed animal in a clear plastic bag\, before donating.\n\nFOOD\, CLOTHING\, REALISTIC LOOKING WEAPONS - If donated\, such items will not be distributed.\n\nGIFT CARDS - The acceptance of gift cards as donations is appreciated but should be avoided. However in the event they are presented\, they are used by the coordinator to purchase toys. Toys for Tots campaigns are not authorized to distribute these as gifts and are mandated to turn them into toys before distribution.
