SUMMARY:Carriage House Wine and Cheese Opening
DESCRIPTION:The Lombard Historical Society is proud to announce the opening of the newly-expanded Carriage House with a wine and cheese tasting on Friday\, November 30\, from 6-9 pm. The event is $20 per person which includes six wine or beer tastings\, a variety of cheeses to sample\, and other appetizers. The event is co-sponsored by 20 West Wine & Spirits and will feature music\, food\, and raffle prizes.\n\n\n\nThe museum is a destination for adults and children throughout the year with holiday tours in December\, Lilac Heritage tours in May\, and local history programs year round. The Carriage House space was expanded to include an ADA accessible designated exhibit space\, program space that can hold a classroom of children\, along with more storage space to house the one-of-a-kind collection of Lombard's history. The project greatly improves the Society's ability to serve our community by expanding our programs to children and adults and having a space to display Lombard's past.\n\n\n\nThe Wine and Cheese opening is the first time that the public will be able to see the newly expanded space and will feature a Christmas Quilt Show and music by Plank Road Folk Music.
