SUMMARY:Tri-Town YMCA Kicks off Children's Health Initiative - Food & Fun Day
DESCRIPTION:The West Suburban Dietetic Association of Illinois will be at the Tri-Town YMCA Y's Kids After-School site at Manor Hill School to lead fun fitness activities and conduct healthy snack demonstrations for the kids.  The community is invited to attend and learn more about Tri-Town's Children's Health Initiatives from staff\, board members and the Strong Kids Campaign co-chairs\, Eileen Mueller and Stacey Cullerton\, who will be present at the event. The demnstration will involve the children in making delicious and healthy snacks like fruit kabobs & veggie spreads.  They will also learn that fitness means fun as the move through fun statiions with jump ropes\, hula hoops\, 3 legged races and more.
