The Lombard Historical Society is having a cemetery scavenger hunt entitled “History Written in Stone” on Sunday, October 16 from 2-4pm at the Lombard Cemetery on Main Street near Washington. This program is in conjunction with historic downtown Lombard’s Spooktactular event.

History Written in Stone participants will be given a series of question to answer about people and tombstones at the cemetery to receive a prize. Costumed docents will be on hand to guide visitors in the cemetery. This program is open to anyone ages 8 and up and is ideal for Girl and Boy Scout troops.
