The Lombard Historical Society will entertain you by busting myths about the Underground Railroad on Sunday, February 16, at 2:00 pm. Was it an actual train? What about trap doors? Were quilt patterns used to secretly guide freedom seekers? We’ll discuss these and other misconceptions that persist about the Underground Railroad.
The program takes place at the Sheldon Peck Homestead at 355 E. Parkside, Lombard. The Society requests a donation from non-members.
