Pennies for Patriots-Raising Funds for Headstones
The Lombard Historical Society has identified 10 unmarked graves presently in the Main Street Cemetery of soldiers who fought in the War of 1812, the Civil War and WWI. The Lombard Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association will be selling raffle tickets for a Big Jam Box valued at $300 to raise money to offset the cost of site preparation. The cost of the raffle tickets are a $1 each or 6 for $5 and may be purchased at their booth during Cruise Nights when live music is featured. All proceeds generated will be donated to Pennies for Patriots.
