The Lombard Historical Society will host a special Christmas tour from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 4, at the Victorian Cottage Museum at 23 W. Maple in Lombard. Visitors will receive a "calling card" at the Carriage House and will be able to view the 1882 Victorian home all decked out in traditional Christmas decor. The brief 15-minute tour takes visitors back to a Christmas Eve in the 1880s where the extended family is busy with holiday preparations and Christmas music fills the rooms. The Carriage House to the rear of the Cottage will offer refreshments and music in between tours.

This free program is in conjunction with the "Jingle Bell Jubilee" celebration in downtown Lombard where participants can stay for the tree lightings downtown and at Lilacia Park, enjoy free caroling and cookies, train rides at Lilacia, and a holiday sing-along on a sleigh ride.
