Workshop: Is Twitter Right for your Business
Workshop description:
Social media marketing has moved beyond Facebook and LinkedIn as the only tools to use to build your business. Twitter has emerged as a tool that gives small businesses a great way to communicate your message to clients. Join us at this SCORE workshop to learn how and where to fit Twitter into your marketing mix.
We'll start with the basics but quickly move to what actions you can take to make Twitter work for you. We'll cover common jargon such as followers, hashtags, tweets, retweets, chats, trending topics, tweet-ups, lists, Tweeps, favorites and more. We'll also share some tips, tricks and tools for Twitter netiquette, finding the right audience, figuring out exactly what to talk about, and ways to have fun! You'll leave the workshop energized and full of knowledge about the Twittersphere and the value 140 characters can have for your business!
